Night, Brockton
CRR/HSR (Hockomock Swamp Rat) Road Race Series--the
second oldest continuous weekly racing program in New England (Fresh
Pond is first). The 3.75
mile race takes place at D.W. Field Park
(off Oak Street) in Brockton, MA, and is open to all
comers. Starting May 2, 2007, through August 29, 2007--the night of
the infamous handicap race and the annual last race part. Races start
promptly at 6:45 PM at the top of Tower Hill.
Registration is at the Pentangle parking lot. The donation is $2.00
per race. The 2006 Series had more than 200 different participants,
and an average of more than 30 runners per week over the 17 weeks.
